Full Job Description
This position is responsible for developing, growing, and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, channel partners, consulting firms, and end users. The Business Development Manager is expected to manage
the assigned clients base, provide guidance and technical assistance to clients.
Responsibilities / Requirements
- Develop and build relationships with key end user customers to enhance long-term business prospects. Implement strategic plan to get projects in alignment with company goals. Develop and execute sales plans to meet
performance expectations and requirements.
- Prepare service presentations to create understanding and awareness. Quote projects and negotiate correct required pricing.
- Maintain a positive relationship with Client Service to ensure all client inquiries, orders, invoices and complaints are dealt with quickly and effectively. Resolve any potential client conflicts.
- Canvas the market to gain insight and adjust to ever-changing delivery requirements. Communicate concerns or improvement ideas to team.
- Maintain a high level of expertise in all applicationsand trends to effectively promote companyservices and solutions.
- Document all activity reports, prospects, and opportunities within the defined database system. Provide a 3-month forward forecast.
- Establish and maintain effective communication flow throughout the team and to other departments. Assist team to develop a coordinated effort while keeping management informed of market conditions.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in marketing
- Proficiency in the use of computers, including Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Practical experience and understanding of the filtration
- Ability to travel, including overnight
- Able to perform all essential functions as described
